Dave Finkelstein Winner i4 Welder

Roseville, California - The winner of a Pro Spot i4 Welder in the March Taylor Memorial Fund drawing is Dave Finkelstein of Golden State Collision Centers in Roseville, Calif., who was presented his prize on Feb. 19 by Ron Olsson, President of Pro Spot International, Inc. “We are proud to be a part of such a great cause,” Olsson said. “March Taylor was a very special man, and his contribution to the collision industry was felt by many. We miss him, and with this donation to the March Taylor Memorial Foundation, we hope it will attract more young people to our industry.”

On Nov. 3, 2008 a silent auction was held and raffle tickets for the Pro Spot i4 Welder were sold during the Collision Industry Conference (CIC) meeting in Las Vegas. Both events contributed $25,000 to the March Taylor Memorial Fund.

Finkelstein owns four collision centers in Northern California and is planning to open one more. “I would like to say a big thank you to Pro Spot,” he said. “My technician was trained right then, and that day he was using the Pro Spot i4 Welding System. This was perfect timing with the new shop coming.”

The March Taylor Memorial Fund was established to benefit collision repair technicians with educational grants. The grants consist of I-CAR coupons, partial or full payment for industry training classes, or awards to attend industry events. To date, more than $80,000 has been contributed.
