PR-2000
Inverter Spot Welding System
PR-2000 is designed with the latest inverter
technology. The weld current is delivered at 2000 Hz., compared to conventional
spot welders which use 60 Hz. The advantage is more energy per time which
results in more powerful welds and shorter weld time. The high frequency
DC weld current works extremely efficiently with galvanized and coated
metals used in today's automobiles. The break-down in the metal properties
is minimal, preventing the HSS (high strength steel) values from breaking
down.
The inverter system is the latest and most advanced
technology available for resistance spot welding. This new technology
replaces the old type 3 phase DC welders because of its many advantages
such as:
More weld power, shorter weld duration.
Less consumption of primary power.
Cleaner weld current, less interruption of
electrical system in the shops.
Smoother DC ripple from the high frequency
weld current, resulting in better welds.
Inverter technology's small demand on the incoming power is a huge advantage.
Weak electrical power sources are common in the U.S., which creates big
problems when using 3 phase non-inverter spot welders.
