The i4 Inverter Resistance Spot Welder is designed to handle the difficult-to weld materials such as boron steels and advanced high strength alloys (AHSS). These new metals are rapidly becoming the material of choice among car manufacturers. The i4 includes an OEM programmable feature with detailed repair illustrations and customized weld programs.

Upgradable Software
The i4 Software is stored on an upgradeable flash card. We consistently release new repair procedures & features so you'll never have an obsolete i4.
i4 Combi: Built-in MIG Welder
The i4 Combi features a built-in PR-155 MIG welder from the factory.
i4 Overhead Installation
The Pro Spot i4 is available in an overhead ceiling-mounted version. The ceiling-mounted version hangs from the ceiling at 20' bracket spacing.

New Metals
Using more than 10 different types of steel in one vehicle is not unusual. Steels such as AHSS, HSS, T.R.I.P. and BORON are
extremely advanced metals with yield tensile strengths of over 1,000 MPa (Megapascals). With the i4 welder, you'll be prepared to weld these modern steels efficiently and easily.

Welding Arm Systems

The Pro Spot i4 comes with a variety of extension arms to accomodate any welding job. Switching between extension arms is easy with the i4, simply loosen the handle to pull off the C-Arm & insert the new extension arm.

Upgradable Software
Over 3,000 OEM Repair Screens On-board: GM, Toyota, Lexus, Volvo, Dodge & More!

Weld-Bonding program for your advanced steel applications. Current is controlled via stored parameters.

Amperage Feedback Display: Shows the exact amount of current being used by the welder for each weld.

New Login Feature allows multiple user access. Login accounts can be controlled to allow greater accountability and data tracking.

Weld Log Feature

The i4 data log feature is an easy way to manage weld history, quality of welds, and power applied to each weld. Detailed information is stored in a log file that is easily accessed using a template stored on a removable USB flash drive. All log information can be printed and stored for documentation and analytical purposes.

Versatile Welding Arm System
